Design Centre were absolutely thrilled to be apart of this year’s incredible Irish Fashion Collective 2018 which was held at the Conrad Hotel on Friday 2nd November. Deborah Veale’s immaculate organisation of this fashion event was awe-inspiring, collaborating with brands including Sherry FitzGerald, Cara Pharmacy and O Leary PR; all in aid of St. Joseph’s Shankill Care for Dementia.
Iconic fashion labels from Paul Costelloe to Louise Kennedy as well as Irish designs from the likes of Sarah Murphy and Aideen Bodkin were on hand on the night, culminating in a show-stopping catwalk display of contemporary Irish fashion for this winter season. Below we have posted some of our Design Centre looks that we adored on the night.
Sookyoung Song wowed the crowds at this event with her modern take on winter fashion with daring capes and catsuits.
Catriona Hanly sheer skin lace evening gown is absolutely mesmerising when paired with Philip Treacy’s black ribbon fascinator [as pictured above].
Catriona Hanly’s signature sleeves were prominent on the runway, with Hanly showcasing bulbous sleeves and bejewelled necklines as well as fun and cherubic evening wear.
This brand new, bespoke black slitted evening gown from Synan O’ Mahony is perfectly paired with this stunning Tricotine fur collar as well as a pigeon grey Aoife Harrison feather headband.
Finally, Synan’s celestial blue maxi dresses are so striking paired with wintry feathers and fur.
We had such a wonderful time collaborating with Deborah Veale for such an amazing cause; St. Josephs Care for Dementia in Shankill. We can’t wait to be involved again!
